Nice. Here's my latest purchase:   It's a 130LSE. Two old biddies from new (husband and wife), 18,500 genuine miles with full history. It's got 6 months' T&T and drives as sweet as a nut, with by far the best gearchange I've ever experienced in a Skoda. Little bit of grot in the front valance and the nsr arch, and a few little bubbles under the vinyl roof, but no real rot. I think the 130LSE was pretty much top of the range in its day, wasn't it? Don't know how long I'll be keeping it though - I prefer the ex-Boycie 120L Jubilee to drive, and I can't really justify having two Estelles on the fleet. |

david that rapid is obscenely tidy ,,,,,i bet its a excellent country road car knowing the suspension mounts ect are factory fresh (for throwing it into hard corners) Nice. It's a 130LSE. ;)The special occasion is something I'll keep quiet about till tomorrow...I'll know then if it's definately happening! Ooooh, the suspense! This Rapid is by far the best handling Rapid I've driven, including Sports and modified ones. It's bog standard too, with original shocks, springs and everything. |
