is the weber carb a replacement carb or is it a carb from another car made to fit your polo?

Wheels wise, I'd use Skoda Felicia steels as they are the same as golf ones

that is amazingly clean, don't think i'd do anything other than keep it clean. which weber are you running. I'm running a weber 32 tla and have to say its a bit naff and just as tempermental as a pooburg!

its a weber dmtr kit from a 1300 golf , I couldnt find a proper polo kit at the time but the golf is almost right apart from some messing with the throttle cable
was well worth doing, it runs like a top now and its so easy to ajust and tinker with..although no massive gains in performance really , gets 44mpg
i'll look out for skoda rims

theres good potential for tuning though when using the dmtr carb. theres a few polos with those fitted that are up around polo gt power 75-80 bhp with very few other mods
oh yeah no doubt if you carry other mods the dmtr will compliment them , and its easy to swap jets etc
i got the proper vw choke cable for it..it has the gubbins to work the dash "choke on " light , so i fitted a led in there lol
i figured i can always get most of money back if i ever decide to sell it , they're always in demand

hi mate sorry to gatecrash but ive got the opportunity of a Weber Dmtr21/200 Carb do u know if this will fit my mk2 1.0l engine? its jetted for a 1.6 golf so i know ill haveto alter the jetting.

not sure , it might fit if you can still get all the adaptors and bits , plus the re jetting
id just wait for the proper kit to come along, they're not that hard to locate and cheaper than buying all the bits to convert it
