I'm about to make some adapters to fit Astra GSI calipers and disks to the front of my Chevette and was thinking I may run a few sets off. So is there any interest out there for some kits? What you will get. Two CNC'd spacers to align the disk. Two Astra GSI disks which will have the center bore enlarged and re-drilled to fit the Chevette hub. Eight high tensile bolts to hold it all together. Calipers are not supplied. Not 100% sure on costs yet but I think I can do them for between £80 and £100 + P&P depending on quantity. I could also supply X-drilled and X-drilled/grooved disks at extra cost Please PM me to register an interest

The disks are Brembo and measure 256mm.
The calipers are a direct fit on the Chevette hubs.
I have tried a Caliper on my car and the standard 13" steel wheels wont fit, not sure if 13" alloys will as i don't have any.
You may be able to fit 13" wheel by using spacer but i will have to look in to that if there is interest.

Hi, If the disks you have are standard GTE they will need the center bore increasing and re-drilling to a 92pcd. I can do the machining on your disks and supply a pair of spacers and a set of bolts for £70 + P&P. Regards, Jonathan

I've made the first kit and made sure everything fits Here's what you get. Two of these spacers. Bored on one side to suit the hub. A flange on the other to locate the disk. A pair of Brembo disks bored out to fit the spacer and re drilled to suit the Chevette/Kadett hub pcd. And eight high tensile bolts. And they all bolt together like this Price will be £120 + P&P I shall get a price for postage tomorrow.

OOOOhhhh.
They look nice. I don't think they'll fit the viva though - or they'd be mine.

I was the first person to do this conversion in the early 90's for a mates road rally manta. Recommended if you want your Opel to stop.

You Can also use Audi Discs without the spacers They still need centre bore enlarging and new pcd drilling but they are the correct offset (Within 0.5mm) 256mm Vented Part number is on the brakes thread on the chevettes site if you want it fella HTH Dom

Plus the audi discs are around £80 for a decent branded set, then you`ve got the machining bill on top so you`d end up paying more than a set of these.
V8chevette-i`ll have a set off you as soon as work picks up,at the mo I'm totally skint.

Just wanted to up this with some positive feedback These kits are great, the brembo discs are beautiful, the spacers are incredibly light, they fit perfectly. You might need to restrict lock a little bit however so the brake flexi connector doesn't touch the spring, but it's a small price to pay imo for such an upgrade .
