This is fitted to my mates trike, hes looking to get some new brake parts but with out knowing what the axle came off we are struggling. I was wondering if any one here recognized it? Its got 114.3 or 4.5" p.c.d. hubs (wearing rover 600 wheels) It looks like its once has leaf spring mounts. Also for such a narrow axle its has some pretty hefty drums 230mm inner diameter. any ideas?

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

thats definatly the shoes!, although the shoes on the trike have an arm for the hand brake, So could have been modified. The handbrake cable is a ford item - this trike is a proper bitsa ;D

no, the cheapskate shoe manufacturers don't give you the lever, you have to swap it when you do shoes.. if you're lucky there will be a new pin and c clip in the kit for it. All trikes are bitsas
