after crashing my gsi and beeing off the road for a while i bought another nova ... when i bought it... fitted these.. set of slabs i got powdercoated in anthrecite grey, now have toyo proxies on... interior... rear strut brace finally painted and fitted and sub and amp..

v6 brakes tucked away.. rear bumper matt black'd, magnex exhaust fitted and mudflaps.. gsi dash and 3 spoke steering wheel... gsi front bumper matt black'd, new plates, chav window wiper blades and arms changed for normall ones.. yup, an engine lol

next to do... fit new passenger sill, fit new steering column where sum ****er broke it trying to nick it , fit K&N filter (in post), fit gsi sideskirts, service and cambelt....

Very tidy! Like what you've done with it, the bumpers look loads better black, nice stance too.

getting there, ive only had the car a little over a month, going to lose the spoiler too, its been poorly fitted and the paints cracked, may go either mk2 spoiler or spoilerless, unsure

update!!! fitted a mk2 Astra GTE digi dash.. fitted K&N air filter, strut brace, Splitfire HT leads and a 4 branch manifold.. de-wipered and mk2 spoilered boot.. gsi bumpers in matt black and gsi sideskirts.. replaced a rotten front panel.. from this.. to this... cav V6 brakes on the front... squeeeeze!!! how it pretty much looks at the moment.. things to do!.... disk rear axle conversion.. and finish building my other engine... its a 1600 8v from my old gsi. rebuilding it... block, honed bores, cleaned the pistons and fitted new rings. new shels etc etc white oil pump.. more or less going to look like that but with a white rocker cover.. and some weber 40 dcoe's... vroom vroom! comments welcome

Ace project, looks really smart. Its got all the parts I wanted for mine. It'll be a little flyer when you've got it done. My old one always felt reasonably nippy, and that was a thrashed 1.2

I'd lose either the sub or the 6x9's. They cancel each other out. When the bass hits, it will push air out and push the 6x9's out when they are trying to move in with the bass.
In short, you'll break them and they will sound naff.

Wish i never got rid of my 1.2 J plate Merit now Looks wicked mate, these cars are fantastic now the Chavs have moved on to Paxo's etc.
