Update!
Well the Sierra is gone! I bought it on a whim, decided I didn't need it, couldn't be bothered with it, got it legal and running and moved it on to a nice chap the other side of town. I also remembered from the few miles I did do in it that they kill my left knee to drive as it is nigh on impossible to get the seat right in a Sierra for me and space in my yard had become a big issue with the purchase of a new caravan.
No changes on the Fiesta other than a matching pair of gear knobs, typical pool ball type things from ebay, red one for red, and blue for Evop (because the interior is Blue). For anyone that plays, or even knows what Geo-caching is, they are also now BOTH trackables! So look out for that at the shows if you play the game!
There was another event yesterday at Curborough with the Trackday Drivers guys! I wasn't going to run, just take photos. But at the last moment they dropped the news on us that the course had changed, anyone who knows Curborough will see from my video the addition of some new tarmac!!! I can say it is a lot of fun! Sorry for the bad camera angle, didn't realise until afterwards how far out it was!

Well, it's been a long time away for me, due to my computer doing the dying duck it was near impossible to get on RR forum and actually look at a thread without a complete crash. The fleet aint changed at all! Orion ain't really grown on me, it's funky but meh.... I want a mk3/4 Escort Estate! It's done good though, had to give it a bit of a tune, not sure who "tuned" it last but the timing was 12 degrees retarded and mixture was super rich! Sorted that out and now it's got a bit of pep! Still my super slow slug though, damn my 1.1 Fiesta's can leave it for dead! Anyway, got bored, chucked my spare xr2 steel wheels on (pics below), also decided to sticker up the doors as the zombie catcher, not even sure why I did that! Changed the radio to a Ford one then filled it with curse word tapes (mostly '80s) from the carboot sale! Don't want a fancy radio in it, it lives in the street some nights! Had to have a a bit of welding done, inner wings had a couple of holes, got the garage to do them though, I can't weld! Thinking of chucked the fog lights off my white mk2 onto it too. Clearing the tat off the white one, and adding it to the Orion! anyway, just a couple of pics: All three Doing so photography at Curborough, makes a reasonable raised viewing area wheels Geocaching in the woods!

Well, some bits arrived for the Orion, heater matrix I needed and the correct mk1 rear lights, however MyHerpes manage to smosh one before they delivered it. So now i'm still after a rear light! Anyway, rear reason I came here today, I've had approval from work (as in the days off I need approved) and more importantly from my car insurance company (I renewed today aswell, £130 for the three) to do the charity event I've been wanting to do! Details here: www.facebook.com/pages/East-for-Easton/405998102889808So very chuffed, something to work towards!

Awesome thread You and your little white Fiesta have really been through the mill and back. It's really struck me how rare Mk2s have become now, such a shame. Curborough is a great track, I competed there in my Nova in June (the figure 8 layout they've just started using), a neat, technical track. Ever thought of sprinting and hillclimbing your faithful Fiesta (or any of your other little fleet?)

Thought about it, but honestly I don't think it's something i'd be very good at, especially still using the 1100 pushrod Valencia engine and full road trim. The Red Fiesta is too clean for that and the Orion couldn't pull it's self out of bed!

Did I see my old red one on the way to Cornwall in the summer? July time I think?

Especially if you drive to the meetings! But it's up to you. I probably missed it but what are the white Fiesta's wheels off? Love the look of them but can't work out what they used to fit? The Orion is awesome. Didn't think any Mk1 Orions were left, it's been so long!

Did I see my old red one on the way to Cornwall in the summer? July time I think? Nope, since I bought it the only time she's been South was to the Ace Cafe last Sept, had a load of fun going to Barmouth though this summer! Such a strong example running sweeter than any Fiesta i've ever had! Leaking from the coreplug behind the Flywheel at the moment though, she's not being used though the winter so i'll get it done in the spring

However not this year, want to get the Charity event out the way in June, also want to use it for our wedding in October next year. Those wheels, no ones too sure! They are a Ford wheel, the centre cap is more commonly seen on Puma 5 spoke wheels. So far i've come to the conclusion they were an accessory wheel. Having only seen one other set I can imagine they weren't too popular!
