Picked this up a few months ago... Always fancied a coupe. Its a 300CE-24 with a mosselman twin turbo conversion(320bhp) on a cosworth dogleg manual box. Genuine AMG wide body kit, usual toys for a 19 year old car. Best novelty is it handing you your seatbelt when you get in. Bodyworks probably the only thing that lets it down, cant see that when you put your foot down though. Might get round to it soon. And as per usual, I broke it on the way home... So it sat around for a few months, after some fiddling it turned out to be a fuel pump relay - £300 from mercedes! So, I bought another 300CE-24 for £400. Robbed a few bits, bit of welding, made an exhaust... 2" stainless downpipes into a 3" bore exhaust to one box, sounds pretty fruity. Rear box is too small I reckon, and the tailpipes are too short, although I'm being fussy, will change that soon as I get a chance. Going to put a larger box in, and mount it right up and have a diesel style 3" downswept tailpipe that hopefully you cant see. Got it MOT'd, and blew the turbos up. But for those few days I cackled and cackled and cackled. ;D Found a pair now though, need to get on that actually. Hoepfully get these back from the refurbers soon.

Dude? Duuuuude.
See after much deliberation, I'm not so sure on the compo turbos now! They are a bit motorsport for the car. Will need dropping another 40mm as well. Will try them on when I get them back anyway.

Holy... what... I mean... that's so... oh man... ...AMAZING! I haven't been on RR much lately as I've been busy. Peeked my head around the door of the reader's rides section and find this little beauty in here! Wow! Out of interest, what turbos does the Mosselmann kit use? And how did you blow 'em up?! ;D

Nice Benz mate! That must be a pretty rare find with that conversion. Are you now going to become a cheap source for Benz tuning parts like you are for VW's?!

Golden BBS's with a polished wide lip would look awesome. And black wide lorinsers always works. Too bad they're fitted to 2 out of 3 mercs.

No one really wants to play with their Merc like the VW lot do. The lowering kits just arent cheap like for a Polo either.
Not too small, they are 16x9+10! Just the arch gap would need correcting and I've already twatted my front bumper. Had a set of BBS RS, but didnt think they'd go. I want the AMG splits for the widebody, but cant justify the cash. I might just give in and get a set of 17x10 RH top lines. They'd look smart.
Also could the guy (if hes on here) with the red SEC V8 and dirty straight through pipes who keeps rallying past my workshop in Redhill stop! Haha.
That noise made me decide I have to get a 500 in the very near future! Hmmmmmmm.

And the compomotives should fit with some proper lowering, if the bodykit isn't too low. But amg splits would look awesome, although done to death.

Was going to get some H&R 60/40 springs and doctor them for the moment. Although I know they are going to be too soft for my liking. Will see how we get on when the wheels come back form the furbers. Oooh, got any pics of it on the Gold BBS? I've had this as my background on my computer for a year, hence why when I saw this up for sale it of been just plain rude not to buy it! Yeah its the gertrag dogleg from the 16v. I've got 2 of them. One I bought to replace the previous I still had, loads of fancy bits, blew up with in a day! Sat in front garden for the last year. I tried to feed it the turbos.... Didnt like the 10J. Tried fitting a 215 to it, and failed. Decided a 225, some camber and arch doctoring just wouldnt house them.
