A lot of places still aren't on street view. Most of York is though. My datsun The Corolla over the road from me, has alloys and electric windows, I'm jealous! Bug. The 190D wasn't there that day.

these were taken last year, I was actually in my room when a google camera car came up the road, can't see me though so these pics must have been taken at a different time. my old 67 (now sold) which was actually yellow not pale cream as it appears and my 71 1200 project (its still in the same place and state ) and my golf parked on the road. My 70 1500 daily driver bug (the two Subaru's belong to my parents) Up until recently you could see two of my old fiestas on google earth (from about 8 years ago) but the picture has been changed to a more recent one

I've seen a funny Astra recently in Wolverhampton! Got a big thing must be 5 foot tall on top, Looks a bit like it would do that kinda thing 360 degres. Would that be it?
Seems my streets aint on there yet

Hmmm. There's a very valid warning in this thread if you look back through! "Hey dodgy folk, here's where I live and what I own!" Of course, it's all out of date so if any dodgy people are reading this, please note that none of us own any cars anymore. There. Problem solved!

Judging by what's on at the cinema on the Streetview, I reckon its about June last year around my bit - of the ones I've just posted, three of the cars have since moved on...

Good to see it's not just me that's a bit uncomfortable with this. Glad mine is safely locked up in a garage where no-one can see it.

I find it really interesting and fascinating, but just crazy. Cheeky though really I'm sure if I drove round up and down peoples streets drives and cul de sacs with Nev sat on the roof rack with a tripod taking snaps on his DSLR I'm sure we get a few people opposed... Good to see My Sapphire parked at my mums on maps...

I think that people should be leaving the exact address off of these screen grabs.

Seems my streets aint on there yet Yeah that'll be it , was a black mk4 Astra that came up my street, sometimes they have google stickers on the doors but not always. Leaving your address off the pics would be a good idea (thats why I cropped my pictures)

Not a good idea to leave your address or the mini-map on at all.
Also, the Streetview cars have been known to drive up private drives (possibly accidentally) and the cameras are on all the time. I think you can get the images taken off in such circumstances though.

I've got nothing to hide, but at the same time don't think they should do this without your permission first. Besides my road hasn't been done yet, or i'm just not using it correctly?

I don't get the problem people have with this. You can't get any information or see anything that you can't just by driving along a public thoroughfare. No breach of privacy at all imo :s I've got nothing to hide, but at the same time don't think they should do this without your permission first. Besides my road hasn't been done yet, or i'm just not using it correctly? A lot of places aren't done yet, I think there's about 15? cities in the UK that have been done, and that's it. Most of Greater London is included though.

Google Street view cars spotted in GermanyI took a photo of one of the cars but I was mildly disapointed that I was not shown on Street View (they used a pic from the otherside of the road).
