Ok, so.. Got the nicer looking Porsche brakefluid warning light fitted in place of the manky black VW one that is only one line and not red. I think it looks soa much niver, actually like an important warning light rather than a blanking plate with a logo on Then, started to bend some ally.. From this.. To these! They are ok, not amazing but they didn't cost anything Then, in readiness for Beach Buggin' and after loosing yet another hub cap, I refurbed my wheels for a more american commercial smexy look. Next, is getting the oil pressure sensor to work. Will be lots of fun getting the sensor fitted. photos to follow! Rich

Whoa. Not updated in a while. To be fair, I have just been driving it rather than playing with it ;D Although there is something I have been thinking about for a while so last night I got 2 mins in the workshop that wasn't reuilding the Golf engine and cobbled this up. It will form the basis of a truck style lanyard horn pull. Still need to jiggle bits about and add a spring but should have it done by this afternoon ;D Only other things to report are that I have sprayed the tyre pressures on the arches and the horn stopped working cause of my dodgy earth. Got it going after a bit of cleaning but should have done that better in the first place Rich

Ok. So. I had these tires in my garage. I tried to sell them, no luck. I even tried to give them away. No takers. So they went back in the workshop til eventually I tripped over them too many times and stashed them on my scrap wheel and tire pile. But then I decided to do something with them as my front tires were looking a bit ropey. 2 15" merc wheel later saw me this- Fitted myself and were a jolly pain in the backside to get to inflate but I did it. Size comparision, stockers (185-R14C) in front ;D And to the right Then, a quick slop of some satin black I had lying about gets me.. wait for it.. Here. Stance? i'll give you stance.. Not the prettiest wheels its had for a long time but by god its the hardest looking wheel combo to date Expecting some hate on this, but I don't mind.. What do y'all think? Oh, and a big thanks to Cris on here for helping me out all day on Monday Rich

Can the front go down more? If it can drop it another 2 inch, then spacers on the back so the tyre tread is just sticking out of the arch.

I wish! Thats 2 coils (about 3.5 inches) already! If it goes down more it'll need the arches tubbing (which would be hard seeing as the seats are on them and I'm tall) and it would shred the arch lip something rotten Plus I'd knock my numberplate off (ohh noes) and my foglamps (actual oh noes ) Annnd spacing the back is hard work. Well, not really, need longer studs, but I can't afford it I'm maybe thinking go back up with the front and go gasser style!! ;D Maybe not, eh?

Nice and cheap! Should look good on your van. I'd get a spoiler if i could afford one. I keep looking at the ones on the big Volvos up Harris's breakers, I even took one off to have a look.. I think I could do it but I'm a wee bit broke at the moment I must admit liking that tooo, def worth keeping an eye out for decent length conversio studs for the rear I will be.. the rears need a bit more width at the very least but it still looks awesome Rich
