I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this, but i bet ile be the only one to say it.......
you appear to have taken off a decent set of tyres, and fitted a dogged, pretty much worn out set, and are happy/proud of this. just as it gets to winter, which is traditionally wetter than summer, so you really need that tread depth to aid wet braking. might be something to think about.......

Err, Dez, I have at least 8MM of tread on the rears You are confusing the photo. Old tire is to the right mate, if you read it again you'll see. I would never replace good tires with shagged ones like them firestones- they didn't even come off the van, they are my wheels and tires I use for painting it

Yah, I know what you mean, there are people out there daft enought to think that the worn tire was ok, scaryily enough. Its nice that you mentioned it but yea, stock size tire in front, then to the right I could have been a bit clearer but no harm done, eh?

Having moved back to Bristol recently I pushed the old bus back into service. Will get some more pics soon. Pleased to report its running great. Cleaned it inside and out the otherday so its looking swish! (as swish as a oxide primer T25 can look ;D)

Little purchase happened today at the NSRA meet in Essex (thanks again Bruce for the ride and Ben and Si for making the day, along with everyone else I met on my travels!) I will no longer be plowing down bus stops filled with nuns holding baskets of kittens as today I picked these up to replace the Static spring/dual wishbone mount shock arrangement. Custom (read, one off hand built ) new ProTech fully adjustable coilies. For peanuts. Reeeesult. Hope to get fitting tomorrow

OOh, post some pics of fitting them please - me and a mate are going to have to do something like this to bag the front of his t25. He's got -70mm springs and it's still depressingly, hilariously high!
