Righty as ive decided its about time i got a couple of cars rather than doing stuff to one car i had to decide on a daily, i love mk2s as most of you will know but i wanted something more reliable and cheaper to run than a GTi so i went on search for a GTD originally when i came across this little gem on ED38 quite cheap, coilies, bbs etc, had some engine work etc(shame they couldnt set up the diesel pump properly though   ).
And strangely the fun toy is a sierra estate but that will go through numorous different looks and engines I'm sure a V8 will find its way into there in no time
Anyway its a 1.6TD had some pump upgrades, bigger injectors supposedly but don't believe that, new clutch, its the normal TD so it has the bigger T3 turbo. Had the AAZ steel headgasket upgrade.. again supposedly. Usual cheapie coilies wound pretty much all the way down, jetta front end etc. This is how i bought it :
Always been a lover of red cars with gold wheels so it had to be done really
Corrado front seats, my usual gearknob, Momo wheel and spent some money making the sounds quite good as it will be a mile muncher and parts collector. JBL gto fronts, kenwood 6x9s that came in it, need to get my JBL GTO 6x9s back from my mate, fli 12" sub and amp combo fits perfectly in the back with the slant of the rear seats, ipod controlling head unit etc
And just to whore a few more pics, my new 4 poster ramp that has cost me an arm and a leg to get, setup and get fully functional but i think its a worth while investment with the number of jobs increasing rapidly.
