Gidday, My names Gordie, and my mate and neighbour (marinathebeast)suggested that you guys would like my car, so I thought I'd start a thread on it. Its an '81 Mazda 323 'Limited' which I bought for $300 (roughly 114 pound) at the start of this year. Since I've had it I have put a sound system in it, put the entire interior out of a later model Ford Laser into it, and just generally serviced it and bought the odd bit to tidy it up. I'm planning on getting some mags for it, trying to get some turbovecs at the mo, but no success yet. Anyway, have some photos: Me^^^ Ignore the temporary speaker placement^^^ LIMITED Hope you enjoy them.

Hmm, interesting...
Is this in NZ? I'm guessing that it's not from Australia because of the number plates. Either way, it seems to be surprisingly good in many areas but you have taken the photos to show off all of the bad parts! From what I can see this is in amazingly good nick, body and paintwork seem to be almost mint, but you've taken photos of it when it's filthy! The interior is in pretty good condition as well, but it looks extremely untidy because of all the crazy wiring! Once you get that stereo installation all tidy and hidden away, things will be 100% better. Then, I think the right set of rims and stance might turn it into a very cool car. I have to say though, some original-style pedals and gear-knob would do wonders too.
So, any chance of a nice photo showing off clean, shiny paintwork? I'd like to see the classic '80s velour upholstery too, looks very retro.

I had a girlfriend when I was a student who had a 1500 IIRC of these, supremely comfortable and so reliable.
Just seen the thread. Welcome a bit late too.
