How can I fit bike carbs to my retro??

Hi, I've got a 1256 chevette lump in my viva that I want to stick some bike carbs on instead of the Zenith CD150. My questions are -

A. how much more power do you reckon I'll get out of the lump compared to the CD??

B. how difficult is it to balance them, make linkages and how reliable will they be?

C. How can I get hold of a manifold that will fit them/who makes them?

Not really worth it - it is a siamese port engine so you'll need carbs off a twin or ones which can be split down and spaced (which causes problems all of their own). You'll use a lot more fuel and be lucky to get an extra couple of bhp. The 1256 is a nice enough little engine...A good service, a decent manifold and you'll be fine.
