try looking for a Fiat panda  . £300 should get you a late model (L or M reg) with low miles. Then its just a case of driving it like the Italians do (to within an inch of its life ;D) |

mk1 and 2 mondeos are going really cheap just now, i picked up an 2.0 s reg one with almost a full years test for 250 quid, the back bumper is fooked, but don't really care as its just a daily hack

Looking for something small and fairly uneventful but drivable without any welding!! Ta! I've got a solid 2.0 passat auto white (some rust) 184k miles with tow bar, had it for the last 80k miles never ever let me down, engine still veru good, always been maintained. mot just run out, no reason why it wont get another - emissions were excellent on last test. too good to scrap. Yours for £200 - ..... |

My neighbour's got an N reg Escort 16 valve in red.
Only needs a rear wheel bearing. Nice car.
MOT ran out about a week ago.
I think he'd let it go for about £200.
