I think I need to paint the sills matt black.. Leave them as they are, with the sill body coloured the car looks lower, if they are black they are lost a bit and at a glance the car looks higher. Has the car grown another chin?

Has the car grown another chin? Yea, I did a quick photoshop and hated it And yea, another chin so now it looks, sounds and drives like a go-kart Rich

I like the cut of your jib. It may be because I used to have a Mk3/2.5 polo and am a little jealous because I don't have room for another one.. Looks like you're doing a good job of bringing it back to it's former glory with some extra coolness. I reckon the fat person's double chin thing on the front should be lost or made smaller though

I reckon the fat person's double chin thing on the front should be lost or made smaller though Cheers. Paint soon, but for now, a little update. Chin spoiler isn't going unless it falls off, I kinda like it Alloys! Also re-repaired the foglamp so it wasn't white. Also, when I fitted the newer throttle body, the bore was massive in comparison to the old one. The old bore matched the rubber mounting block, but the mounting block didn't match the manifold. The new bigger TB matches the manifold, but the mounting block was way too small. Hard to tell from the photo but trust me, it was rubbish. Ported the rubber block and reffitted it all, with new crankcase hoses replacing the perished and holed ones and it seems quite rapid now for a 1 liter. Result I think. Rich

Cant help but think maybe a couple more coils out though!? Maybe. Its the other halfs daily drive and she already thinks its gash, nothing to do with the suspension, she just hates it ;D I think she just wants to take my van everywhere, everyone stares at her driving a US Stylin' VW Transporter with a slammed front, in primer red Rich
