Lower a lot (obviously), roof chop.. about half height?, two tone paint and wheels.. wide wide wheels.. I'd roll it. GMC Turbo diesel perhaps?!

It's a Winchester. It was developed and built by Winchester Automobiles (West End) Ltd., a subsidiary of the Westminster Insurance Group. They only built about 50 in total between 1963 and 1972, but the Series 1-3 cars were REALLY ugly, despite using what looks like GRP versions of Mk1/2 Jaguar wings: A quick Google reveals that Series 1 cars had a Perkins 4.99 1600cc four-pot diesel, Series 2-4 cars were fitted as standard with the 1663cc Ford V4 out of the Transit/Corsair. Looking at that pic, I'd bet that most of the running-gear is Mk1 Tranny. I'd imagine that with a Crossflow in one, performance would be 'leisurely'.... ;D The ones you've seen are Series 4 models. All of them are rare, but I have no idea how that translates into value.

It has so much potential. Stripped, caged, chopped, wide wheels and of course hit with the stick about 2.5 inches. Change the grill to something cooler and most importantly, Scooby engine or something equally high powered J engine (Rotary)?

hehe well you lot have a better imagination than me I prefer the earlier versions as they are uglier, ?, sounds odd but... I would have thought it was pretty light so 1600 would push it at a reasonable pace?

Interestingly, the stock image you chose is actually the same car as for sale in the ad!

The front wings look like BMC Landcrab with the front chopped off. I reckon do it like that dark red J postvan with the bolt on arches and wide wheels (of which I can't find a pic sure it was in the OOOF thread)

Here have a 5 min shop. slammed, chopped, bit of grill action, still fugly mind!!! I think the sides are a bit to tall to pull off a roof chop, in fact the whole thing look completly out of proportion, chopped or not

I see Stephen Fry drives a cab in his show in America
he drives the cab in London. As he says its easier. don't know if theres any other benifits of driving a cab as a private car. Like being able to use special lanes or parking spaces.
think it needs the light surrounds reworked as there a bit big.

They do have an air of NHS Specs about them, but that and the slightly off proportions make it look like an oversize toy car, and I like it I think it would suit a set of big modern rims and hard slam just great

That chop actually looks good I think, with some wide (chrome maybe?) wheels.
