Advice on tyres and wheels size

I am just about ready to buy some wheels and tyres for my ford spectron mini bus,van.Well i am thinking of having some Inovit blade wheels 17inc with 45 tyres.What i want to know with 45 tyre will it be hard on steering.My van has power steering.Am i better off with 16inc wheels and bigger tyres ? thanks

the bigger the wheel the more it weighs, the shorter the sidewall the harder it rides. <<< this is all usually true.

A heavier wheel and shorter sidewall will tend to be harsher. The "weight" on the steering is more to do with the width of the tyre and the offset of the wheel. Having wheels the wrong offset on the front can make the steering very heavy and prone to tramlining

other than to make sure you have the right offset on the front at the very least I don't know your vehicle enough to say which is best for you.
