This is a Renault Espace DCi that I have acquired from a mate. I was planning on fitting a towbar and using it as a tow car, but to be honest it's not really my cup of tea (too modern). It drives fine and goes well for a diesel MPV, and it passed its MoT first time. I'm not sure where the Expression fits into the range but I assume it's somewhere in the middle - it has climate control, CD changer, remote locking etc. etc. but the rear door windows are manual.
The engine is in good health and had a cambelt in March last year (since when it's done about 10K miles). Gearbox is a bit rubbery as Renaults often are but works fine. The electrics all seem to work and the aircon is cold.
Bad points: the sills were a bit scuffed when my mate bought the car so he's sprayed them black to keep further stone chips at bay - not really noticeable unless you're looking as the car is dark grey. The dashboard display threw a hissy fit a couple of years ago - it's now working fine again apart from the milometer, which is showing some random figure. There's enough service history to be able to work out the true mileage fairly accurately though. The chrome trim is not to everyone's taste, but will peel off easily enough if need be. And that's about it really. The car isn't taxed at the minute, but I can put six months on if need be.
