Nice looking car, but from those paint bubbles i'd guess its hiding weldathon horrors. Scrappage scheme threat sounds a load of hot air to me
Out of interest why's the engine shoved so far forward, there not fwd are they??
.edit. wiki tells me its fwd with narrow angle V4 engine. learn something new every day!

its only worth 2 grand on the scrappage scheme to him...you have to own the car for 12 months and the scheme finishes in october 09...
think hes pushing his luck a bit, especially to start it at that price

That's just a few miles up the road from me. I do like Fulvia's but I've a feeling I might come out the door one morning and it'll have dissolved.

I've seen far more blatant 'buy it or I'll crush it' type adverts than that to be honest but there's no way he'll get two grand for that and, as I see it, it's not worth that either.
Have a look round eBay and pay attention to cars that have a high starting price and no reserve that are about to end and very, very few of them will have even one bid. It's the eBay bidder mentality if you like: people want to think they can bid a low price and win something and are more than happy to keep pushing their maximum up in a bidding war but don't want to bid on something with a large starting price.
If he is trying to sort of scaremonger then don't give him the time of day by sending him questions etc. It's his car and his money to waste on eBay adverts, if he does send it on the scrappage scheme then a lot of people won't bat an eye lid.

yep- your a heartless thug if you can own such a lovely little car like that and then just let it get scrapped for a modern euroblob. Pick at those blisters though and there will be more- but its still half the price of one i went to view at malcolm c elder in oxfordshipe- which was rusty as too. Lovely cars though. Shame its all the way up there- i'd have a look i would.
