Right see as the Sierra is out of action I need a cheap motor to get me about! This was advertised on the main road out of Brixham it's got MOT til March 2010 and Tax til November 2009, and with the D16 Honda engine it goes quite well too ;D and all for a bargain £140. ![](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a376/robin_xr4i/rover.jpg) ![](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a376/robin_xr4i/rover1.jpg) The paint is TBH curse word, lot of the laquer has peeled off, but generally the car seems to be in good condition. Although it needs a service and hoover inside. Bangernomics FTW!

Top bargain buying Robin! I vote for OAP spec, tippety tap with the stick, travel rug, walking stick, trilby with feather, tissue box, tin of 'car sweets', AA/RAC badge. Job done! Incidentally, saw the ebizzle listing, to fund the repairs?

A nice cheep find got any plans for it Nothing to crazy, possibly cut the springs (or possibly lowering spring if I can find a cheapo set), even SWMBO said that it was too high ;D Top bargain buying Robin! I vote for OAP spec, tippety tap with the stick, travel rug, walking stick, trilby with feather, tissue box, tin of 'car sweets', AA/RAC badge. Job done! Incidentally, saw the ebizzle listing, to fund the repairs? Oap spec is tempting, but I need a parcel shelf cause the dog ate it! Yeah I'm flogging all the bit on ebay to either fund repairs or get another RWD banger. I don't know the ARB mount is proper fubar and I've kinda lost my mojo with the Sierra, even though load of people said I should repair it ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) I Fancy a change, E30, E34, 740 Turbo, 940 Turbo, RX7 FC n/a somit like that.

I like the looks of the R8 in some stramge way... Strange, because early 90s compact cars really aren't my style but... They DO have something...

I just couldn't leave it alone! So I cut the spings and painted the wheels matt black, total cost of mods: Cutting disc - £2.99 Can of matt black - £1.99 Total - £4.98 ;D ![](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a376/robin_xr4i/DSC00598.jpg) ![](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a376/robin_xr4i/DSC00599.jpg) ![](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a376/robin_xr4i/DSC00600.jpg) Think I need to take one more coil off the front and several more off the back, to get it to the desired ride height.

dude, more coils need to go bye bye Plus don't loose faith the the sierra. Whats up with it? More coils off tomorrow! As for the Sierra, it's been 2 and a half good and fun years. BUT! I want a change and this latest mishap has been the catalyst for a change. The Rover is a bit of fun until I can break the Sierra and sell all the parts, the engine and box have already gone into a mates Ford 100e, the Wellers have been sold to Qwertina, the Recaros are going in my mates Fiesta and the other bits will appear on ebay soon. I'm looking at getting either a Volvo or a BMW, either way I'm well a truely bitten by the sideways bug and I need another RWD.

(That spraypaint is awesome, cheap and of satin finish!) Looking forward to updates!
