got these 2 to rob for any remaining bits after my 16v conversion- the 1.7 has all usual bits to convert a 16v robbed off, plus the inlet manifold is gone, as is the starter- i have the alt still though, still has the dizzy/leads/carb+cable too. the 1.4 is totally complete except for starter motor(its on in the pic, but i need it), still has the bellhousing on, good clutch/clutch cable/carb/alt/fuel pump/dizzy/etc. i also have fair condition complete exhausts from manifold to tailpipe for both motors- slight surface rust but totally solid. can post any bits, and itll all be cheap. let me know if you want anything asap as I'm running out of space so these 2 lumps will be scrapped pretty soon. i also have pretty much a complete cars worth of suspension/drivetrain spare, plus doors, wings, lights etc.

If you have a spare prop and rear axle going i'm interested if the price is right Have you put the engines on www.volvo300mania.com/ yet, may get more interest on there. Just a thought but if you are keeping the starter for the 16v swap my 1.4 one didn't fit so had to use one of a diesel Renault Kangoo instead.

nah, I'm hoarding props myself! got pretty much all of a rear axle setup spare though- which bits are you after? yeah everythings already on v3m. ive got the 1.7 starter which fits, its only the solenoid i need off the 1.4 one, as mine went back when the car was a 1.4, so i robbed the one off the 1.7 starter.

Ah i see, i knew i should have got the props off of the 2 340's i saw in my local scrappers. I've not actualy broken one yet, but like yourself just wanted to get some spares just in case. Same goes with the rear axle, don't need it as such just thinking about parts availability . If it's complete with dif PM me a price please. Bump for the engines

well, they don't have a 'rear axle' as such, gearbox/diff is combined which i kinda regard as a seperate unit/ i have a good 4spd one complete, a set of driveshafts, a rear bream, brakes, etc, all spare. 50 notes would take the lot- basically the whole back end!

you could have had the whole thing for £60 with clutch etc- ive personally done 3000 miles in it so definately good, and its only on 70k from new. ive just sold the rocker cover, leads manifold and carb off it though....
