There's a guy called Betteson who grafted two Imp engines together to make a V8 for a bike.

V8 bikes always looked a bit 'over-engined' to me. This 2 rotor RX8 engined (250 hp) one is nice though:

The flathead bike is nice but louvers on the petrol tank?? The best V8 bike is the Drysdale. Hand-built in Australia by Ian Drysdale. Available as a 750cc V8 sportbike or a 1000cc V8 naked bike. The 750 uses two modified Yamaha FZR 400 heads, not sure about the 1000. More here, although his web design skills are not quite up to the standards of his engine building. www.drysdalev8.com/

Some nice bikes so far, but they have been lacking a little edge. The Big Red Machine was build for the annual sand drag racing at the Ponde festival. It runs a 400 Chev with a mild cam through a centrifugal clutch to a 15x14 paddle tyred rear end. www.ponde.com/ozbiker/ozbiker.htmlThe competition

Wow, that V6 Alfa bike of rmad's is amazing! Looks like they've managed to fit it into a stock frame from a modern Harley, although I may very well be wrong about that. Love the fact that they've put a kick-start on it!! Can you imagine how cool you would look kicking over a 2500cc V6?! ;D ;D Edit: Just followed the link, and OMG!! You forgot to post up the pic which shows that the primary drive to the transmission is via unshielded duplex timing chain!
