But I have succeeded. ![](http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/4140/n55722006210380582975.jpg) ![](http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/4250/n5572200621038408217.jpg) 72' Karmann Ghia 1835cc flat 4 boxer, 45 dcoe webers, race cam, deep sump and external oil coolers, race cam, quick shift. Porsche carrera cup wheels. Currently in storage, about to have new paint...

Have to say I quite like it ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) In fact I really like it! It does look a little close to pink..... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Colour change should make it much better. Rather taken with this silver one at the gathering though ![](http://img4012.photobox.co.uk/93559001eeccd7cc68b1a1bb01f12779662b4b1a69b495ed7de930cb1cde630f95edd36d.jpg)

I'm not sure what the colour is going to be. It's actually red at the moment, not pink. Those wheels really do set it off ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) As previously stated, if you don't like it, don't post. It's retro enough to be posted ('72) and when have you seen a smoothed KG before?
