Hello,
I've been working for the past couple of years as a CAD draughtsman but recently got made redundant, I'm starting to set up a little company of my own and would like to offer my services to the lovely people of retro-rides!
As I'm only just starting off I need to build up my confidence and iron out the inevitable hitches so I'm really not going to be asking for much in the way of payment and will be more than happy to make changes until you get what you want.
I'm hoping this might be of use to anyone on here that might be getting parts CNC machined as a lot of the cost in this is the drawings, I'll be more than happy to save people a few quid. It could also be handy for people building garages / extensions for the initial concept drawings rather than having to pay architects prices all the time, I've got a fairly good knowledge of building regs but I wouldn't want to submit drawings to the planning office without them being checked by a pro.
Anyway, here's a few examples of what I can do:
This is the roll cage for my reliant kitten project (See readers rides board) It was really useful when bending up the tubes because you could just look at the drawing to find measurements from any point like from the start of one bend to the end of the other.
This is the sort of thing I can do in 2D for layouts etc, this was all surveyed / measured by myself. It's a plan view of my girlfriend's parents flat that they wanted so they could give it to an architect to draw on an extension and submit it to planning.
This is a little something I'm gonna get made up for my car, I've drawn it in autocad then converted it to a .dxf file so it can be sent off to a laser cutter, then I'm going to butcher an old AA badge and weld the wing bit to the top and fix the original back plate to it and I'll have an old school RR badge! If anyone wants a copy the file to make their own, PM me your email and I'll send it over to you.
If anyone is interested in getting some drawings done just PM me and we can discuss! Cheers, Anthony
