The exhaust looks a bit silly though.

Pretty cool idea but fails on the chav side. It would have looked so much sweeter done as a sleeper or with period looking mods. But still, hats off to him for building it.

Yea, I remember seein' that a while back. Prefer the Cosworth-Engine AGL1K, which is for sale BTW ...recently decimated an FQ400 on the motorway...~800HP in it's prime.... Or Phil's V8 Sprint - soon to have a 380HP TVR engine in it......what a real little brit-rod that'll be..... Had a ride in it at the weekend, and what can I say, even with it's 148BHP rolling roaded-Stag engine, what a little beastie it is, just so much fun! Makes more noise than speed, which is what I like about it - although it still shifts and the torque is great, cruising in 4th OD....an explosion every lamp post!

exhaust is horrible, too big and just looks tacked on, if the bonnet buldge is functional then thats alright, if not - that last one is nice!

Thumbs up from me, bonnet bulge is a bit wierd but matches the arches abit, I like the exhaust, it reminds me of the pencil sharpener exhaust on a beetle desk organiser, i had at school!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I saw a lovely 2 door Toledo with a Dolomite front at a RAF Cosford show a while back, SpottedLaurel will remember this car too....anyone know of it it?

There's a few of them - you've only got to fit the grills and lights and ya done.
There's a Toledo, however, a 2 door, that has the dolly styled front end....with a Dolomite set of rear panels - effectively a 2 door dolomite. Made me look twice!

Those are pretty cool, that Cosworth YB engined one is bloody amazing! Still think a Volvo 940 turbo engined Toledo would be cool all the same, possibly one of those projects I'll have to do in future when I'm not bloody skint!

I'm getting that horrible feeling of another car fetish coming on. I've always had a bit of a thing about Triumphs but never actualy managed to own one. I think it's possibly because I keep getting offered old Fords at very cheap prices which is keeping the drive too full for another.

Nice white 1850 for sale atm Seriously though, they are excellent, competent cars and I find that finding something that measures up like for like is very difficult Potentials are endless too!

Well I'm gonna have to wait a bit anyway and get the current crop of cars sorted first. Then see which I get bored of first, by which time the old Triumphs will have rocketed in value and be beyond my grasp!
