Quality, mount the rad in the back with duckting and a fan - better weight ditribution and more room under the bonnet- winner

Looks like that'll be cool when it's finished, I agree with the whole sticking the radiator out of the road thing, you could have it in the boot with some vents cut into the rear side windows, and some ducting leading from those into the boot to feed the radiator and some vents cut into the bootlid to let the hot air escape or something. Racing Imps often use radiators at the front, actually my racer Imp had a Fiesta XR2 radiator there, with two big copper pipes running through the cabin and into the front through some little holes cut into the bulkheads at the front and back of the cabin, you could do something similar here, except with the location of the engine and radiator reversed obviously. I think Audi done the same thing with its Group B SWD quattros.

More pics if possible please dude! ;D

Its an interesting idea but i think ive solved the problem by using a flat Dizzy cap (+maybe a short dizzy)
The grille will be spaced out from the body a little way too.

To start with its 1098cc +60thou, 274cam, race bottom end, 12g295 (998cooper) head with 12g940 (1275) sized valves. HIF 44 carb.
But thats just one to get it running (i built it years ago so better use it for a bit!)
Got all the parts for a 1430cc motor so I'm building the car with that in mind.

This is a superb project! Good work! I was hoping that my mates mini project would go like this.... he's chosen to go the 'plated floor & engine-in-situ' route though.....
