I also did not know people did this with Jeepsters, but now that I do know I feel much the better.
In particular the one in the second video down, with the one red headlight, looks awesome.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Those are awesome! I love the attitude, it seems that these are mostly home-made by the owner, sort of like the local equivalent of a hot-rod or a Locost. If Jeeps are cheap and plentiful and you want a fast car, just put a sports car engine in a lowered Jeep! Makes sense to me, and even with the separate chassis it'd probably be lighter than a Silvia/180SX anyway! ;D ;D

Wonder did he jsut decide "f*ck it, one red headlight it is" or is there a reason If I had to guess, I'd say it was Thailand. They're from the Philippines, known as "owner-type jeeps" to dsitinguish them from the bigger Jeepneys (multi-coloured, chromed, slightly mental Jeep-based buses I'm sure we had a thread about a couple of months ago). Googling turns up some interesting stuff; this style seems to be pretty popular but not as popular as polished handmade stainless steel bodywork ^^ 20v Toyota engine ;D Also some truly bizarre stuff... ever wondered what a Toyota-engined fwd jeep would look like with a BMW E30 front end? No, me neither, but here we go ;D Mostly found here (a lot of the stuff is at least partly in English too ), or via Google Philippines. Have a look, see what else you can find
