well thought it was time to start a thread on my new retro J... as a few may know I had a mk1 escort estate show car but with plans to build a drag race car I didnt wanna chop it up at all and have bought another mk1 escort estate shell for that.. but I got thinking and thought I need something to pee the coppers off round my area.... so what popped into my head...... TOYOTA I used to own a te51 liftback corolla when I was 15 and a ae82 when I passed my test so my thoughts was ae86...... but it was a bit to new for my liking and decided on a KE70..... looked everywhere for one..... but nothing then this turned up!!!!! ignore my mum but after some thrashing around and beating porcshe's I done this!!! my plans are mk1 golf or jdm splitter whatever turns up first these rims::: 10x14 compomotives that I came across with some stretch .. coilovers a spool and 35mm shafts ;D full drift spec cage old buckets and retro harnesses hope you all like hux

like? thats awsome ;D i'm tempted to fit one of these engines to my skyline as they're pretty plentiful, but would be weird taking out a 2.4 straight 6 to fit a 1.8 4 cylinder. whats the spec on the motor?

I've got a bit of a soft spot for the old KE70. I was always fixing my mates one and got to know how the whole thing went together. It's totally gave up before funds for 4age could be found and fitted. Now he's got a Maxima, how dull.
Anyway, really nice car mate. The second set of rims look heaps better but i think your going the right way with the 3rd set. I'll be watching this thread.
Cheers

Loving the car, I do agree that a 4age would be better personally and surely any money spent on one would be recouped by selling that engine, but it's your car and if you're happy with the Nissan motor sitting in there, then stick with it.
