Volvo T5 engine with ancillaries, etc, from a 95-M 850 T5 estate.
156,000 miles with full main dealer service history to 140,000 then serviced by myself for the remainder with no expense spared. Main dealer parts, inc. dizzy cap, rotor arm, etc. Not cheap . I have the stamped up service book and itemized Volvo service schedule/invoice sheets, etc.
It's now been sat for around two years but it was an excellent runner before I took it off the road; no smoke, knocks, rattles, misfires, etc. It ran like a dream and boosted well. Car was left languishing after the MOT expired and I found other cars to play with. This was around two years ago and the car has slowly been broken up over that period. IIRC the engine is complete apart from one boost pipe, but this shouldn't cost too much from a dealer. I'd imagine after such a period of inactivity it will require a good service though.
I'm looking for £300 for the engine, but you can take what ever else you want at no extra cost. Eg, auto trans, driveshafts, wiring, ECUs, front suspension/hubs/brakes, etc. These are all no cost options to whoever buys the engine. You can take any mechanical item you want apart from the intercooler and cooling fan (which I need for something else). There is a catch however; The buyer will have to remove the engine and other parts his/herself as I simply don't have time at the moment. The dashboard, seats and carpets have all been removed, so access to the wiring harness is straightforward.
I'm located in Stoke-On-Trent.
£300 for the engine and whatever else you need. I just need the engine gone so I can frag what is left of the shell and gain access to my garage to squirrel my E30 project away for now.
Please PM me if you're interested or have any questions.
