I don't really want to sell these as they are absolutely ace and i don't know when another set will come along, but due to buying yet another old car i've placed myself a little too close to the breadline again so am feeling the need to liduidise some assets. These are from a Lotus Eclat, they are late 70's/early 80's, 14 inch speedline alloys. I've got 5 of them. Not sure what the width is but they have got 195/60 x 14 tyres on which look pretty happy with their lot. Stud pattern is 114.3. Not sure what the offset is but I suspect it will be the same as the 'other' lotus alloys as the Elite end the Eclat share the same running gear, if any of our resident wheel whores could advise? The rim has E = 19 on it if thats any help. As I say theres a set of 5, I think they have not long had a refurbish as they're all dead clean with no kerbing, bite marks etc, they're in really nice condition. Tyre wise all are legal, 3 of them would get 7 out of 10, the other two i'd give 5 out of 10 because they have a bit of feathering down one edge though. Theres a bag of taper seat nuts with them, but theres not 16 nuts in the bag so budget for some new nuts. Collection from Crewe or Peterborough or could possibly deliver somewhere between those two points on a Friday evening if its not a massive detour. I'd really need to get about £200 for the lot, although if anyone can give me any fact-based information about their true worth i'm all ears. There seems to be about 10 sets of Elite alloys for every set of these and these are much more of a looker IMO so i'm not going to be letting them go for like £75 or something. If they don't sell they will ultimately end up on my TA14 Carina, where they will defo look the absolute bees knees. If you're interested drop me a PM or give us a buzz on 078OO 9O2396. I can do some more photos, but not before Tuesday next week unf. They all look the same though! Cheers, Richard

They are 7" wide and offest is the same as the 'more known' Lotus rims.
There is a set of these rare beauties lurking somewhere around @ Area52 which I can try and measure up to get the offesets for you??
Nice wheels and a good price for something so seldom seen.

Cheers MM thats very kind of you, don't go to loads of bother, lets see if anyone is interested. If they are the same as the 'other' lotus jobs i'm sure someone will be along shortly who knows the offset off by heart!

If you're thinking of me then I'm afraid I'm of little use (although I have a near-forgotten memory of working the 'other' ones out to be E21 offset)! Interestingly, I've seen these in 4x100 and 4x114.3 flavours and although I think they're all 7" I suspect the offset can vary. This Esprit has a set of deeper dish ones out back: I have a feeling that that's where the varying offset 4x100 sets come from, rather than an Eclat. None of that's any help is it?

I'm pretty sure that Stealthstylz had a set of the staggered offset 4x100s for sale recently so he might have some knowlege. When I saw the pic I thought thats what they were going to be and got all excited. Not that I could have afforded them anyway

Back from A52 and can confirm that the offset is 19mm....checked and double checked Backspacing is 120mm on a 202mm wide rim (giving centreline of 101mm)

The 4x114.3 ones only come in 14x7 flavour. ET19 going by the stamp.
The 4x100 ones from Esprits are 14x7 ET19 on the front and 14x7.5 ET -20.5 on the back. They're lovely looking wheels, but the chances of getting the rears on anything with standard arches is slim.
I sold my set for £180 which were just rubbed back to primer. Nice ones are worth a lot, seen sets of Esprit ones go for £500+ on ebay in good condition, not sure about the Eclat ones though

I can confirm that the whole set is in superb condition - I collected them on behalf of Mr_Bolleaux from some weird place I can't remember.
If I recall the bloke said they had been refurbished a few years ago but never used since, they were for some project that still hadn't seen completion and they were being stored in his nice warm garage.
Really I should have just kept them and stuck them on the Galant or something, I don't think Mr B knows exactly where I live so ultimately I'd have been quids in. Should have thought of that at the time really.

Cheers for the info gang!!! Just noticed that tyre in the pic looks a bit cracked, I thought all the tyres were good, i'll have a proper look at them after the weekend and confirm what exactly the 'crack' is with them.

Bump for cool wheels

I thought they'd go on a 340, they weren't miles off on my Uno. Would need some serious stretch and camber still lol. Matt
