Not sure if I'll be around tonight but if so I'll take some new pictures. very nice cars, I love 70's rotarys! Great tow vehicle too We have been making jokes about that, but you seem to be honest? It actually has some sort of air adjustable shocks on the back, so maybe the first owner regularly towed a caravan with it...

That's a great car, a good find despite the rust.
And nice repairs.
Can't wait to see more of this.

God I miss my RX-3!! It was the same colour as that, but not as rusty!! That had been stood 25 years when I got it!!
Just be very carefull, the engine seemed great in mine, but after running it a few times the rubber O-rings between the engine sections had perised, and let the water into the oil. It's not a major problem, but you will have to pull the engine out, split it and replace all the O-rings. Just keep an eye on it, if you don't spot it, it will kill your engine.

So, Siert pressured me to write something Left wheel arch being done I really need to do the right as well. It's not as bad but it has also been repaired in a dubious manner. The right sill needs some attention too. That done I would be able to put some new paint on the wings and stone catcher. I'm also doing a school project where I'm reviving a Sun distributor tester from 50's and adjusting RX4's distributor. Hopefully that makes the engine run a bit better and then I can start cleaning and adjusting the carburettor. For wheels I'm planning to use the original 13" steel wheels with 175/70 13 rubber in the front and 205/60 13 in the rear. With small lowering on the front that should look bratty good. I'm just hoping that I get all this done before summer.

Well summer has gone, but now I'm bumping this thread so that Antero can write about a little bit of progress that has been made.

RX4 jojo coupe RX4 mason sedan RX3 Merv sedan RX3 Dom coupe RX3 Hayden coupe RX3 Gordy coupe RX3 Matt coupe RX2 Era sedan RX2 Era coupe RX2 Tool coupe RX2 Tool coupe RX2 Jase sedan RX2 Ramon sedan All in britain but mainly all kiwi, aussie and southafrican owned... I'm always so happy to see another old rotary saved. There must be more hidden away gems out there waiting. Does anyone know of any more. Good on you Antero for saving this!!! It has rusted in similar areas to where my Rx3 went but yours is worse- do they use road salt in Swedan? And are there many rx's in Finland? I miss my RX3!!!
