Thanks for the offer but I don't really want an auto & Id prefer to stick with a unmodded car (well maybe lowered a bit) as I know what (to a certain extent) what I'm getting.
No offense to you but Ive been down the route of buying "done" cars & found that I end up doing as much work as if Id started from scratch.
I spent a fortune on a '56 vw split screen bus that wanted minimal work & ended up skint & had to sell it.
If it'd been OG & manual I might have been interested.
Still interested in seeing how it turns out though.
Good luck, keep us updated.

And it will be built to my high exacting standards as if I was going to drive it myself. I don't see the point in cutting corners- I won't get any enjoyment from the job that way Hopefully I'll get the exhaust finished tomorrow for an update

It is 2,0 GT model and in fairly good shape. These cars are very nice to drive with 5-pot engine. I have to sell it because i bought another car and one of them has to go says my wife

Well, 32b Passat prices start from zero to 1500€ if it is in very good shape and with extras. Almoust every Passat (and other models also) in Finland are basic models. My car is imported from Germany in -92 and i think GT was not available in Finland at all. My car looks good in pictures but rust is eating doors etc... Your car looks nice too, like the old model-look in front.

keep the updates coming need a side on view too to see how low it is At the moment about stock- not low enough. I will lower it when Its closer to finished, its easier to work on with the higher suspension. Can get jacks and ramps under it Updates in due time eksu- That is a wonderful example! I would love to own that! Shame you have to sell it but at least some one is going to be very happy with it!
