Yeah, 'cos someone will have stolen the Max Power/Institute of Advanced Motoring (I kid you not) ice scraper key-fob.
Of course, being a key-fob sized ice scraper it will take about 4x as long to clear your windscreen as a 99p plastic jobby from the petrol station. But it is free...

by 'creators of dish, stretch and camber' I think they mean the Japanese in general - as they were the ones to bring it all out of motorsport and into the modified retro scene Oh come on, John! Stretch is a motorsports fail. Excessive camber is a motorsports fail. And dish! Dish has been around ever since big fenders have been around. Just for one example, Ford were selling deep dished BBS, Richard Grants, Minilites, etc, wheels *contemporaneously* from their motorsports catalog along with the cars off the showroom floor and optional RS and X-pack wings. This is 40 years ago, when Mr. Rauh was probably just a dirty thought in his daddy's mind, or still gnawing on zweiback crackers. I mean wave the Rising Sun flag nice and hard, but 'ell let's make this somewhat factual, mate.

Hi all, Firstly, it's always nice to see the mag getting a bit of love on here. The team behind Max have a very varied taste in cars and mods, but we all fell in love with the Rauh Welt cars as soon as we saw them. Doing something a little different with a cover car is always a risk, but it's good to see it's going down well with people outside our usual readership. In defense of the way the feature is written though, the idea really is that it's these cars which took the first steps into making these styling cues mainstream. So not necessarily that he invented them, but that he brought them to the attention of mainstream enthusiasts. Max gets read by all sorts - from very knowledgeable enthusiasts to young drivers looking into buying and modifying their first car. Some are seasoned forum users and know the scene inside out, others are just keen to learn. So while most of you guys will read about our new trends and say it's not exactly new, bear in mind a lot of readers won't have read about them before. It's about getting people to think outside the box a bit, beyond buying a bodykit and wheels off the shelf, and to mix it up a bit. Question though, has anyone used the ice scraper since the weather turned bad? And how long did it take?

I don't see why MP having cool cars in it is such a big shock - they've been doing it for the last couple of years now. Them or FC had a retro rides special fer gods sake. Since then i keep seeing interesting metal on the cover of both mags.
They really have changed quite a bit lately.

I prefer the normal 911 of that period. That looks too 'retro'?
