What do you think of plastic bumpers painted silver? On some J sports cars, can't think what though, and Vitaras for instance. I'm considering it for my Citroën AX when I've got a full GT bodykit. Just got the front bumper for now. What do you think? Could someone do me a quick photoshop? Here's a car like mine but with GT spec. One reason I thought about it is cos the bumper needs a fair bit of filler and sanding so it would no longer be textured. And to have something a bit different? Any other ideas? Cheers

Just get the textured paint from a decent suppliers, needs a plastic primer before painting anyway.
Just thing the silver will show up any scuffs at all, plus it may look a bit 90's max power i hate to say.
However that my opinion, it's your ride so roll it how you want. ;D ;D

Like this?? Bumpers and arch trims or just bumpers? TBH I don't think silver will work with a car of that colour

looks a bit barry, could maybe work if you went the whole hog and two-toned it from the swage line down. the AX is certainly boxy enough to pull off a retro paint job like that. i did a polo of mine like it, not everyones cuppa, but it certainly stood out from the crowd. Built it a few years ago, so some of it looks a little dated now

Thanks for all the replies guys. Thanks Jak for the photoshop. Not one of my best ideas I suppose. And yeah, it was for wheel arges and all. Hadn't thought about textured paint. Just the ticket. I'd thought about 2-tone, as the lower sides aren't great. Need to get some mudguards. But would probs only work with black bumpers like your polo (very nice it is too) and not painted like the lower colour.
