Time - 9:30am Date - January 1st 2010 Location - The Phoenix Pub, A30 Inkeeping with the last few years I saddled up and trundled over to the VSCC classic car meet, SWMBO followed on later with a friend in the Beetle, so I had a bit of time to wander round the hundreds of classics, vintage, retro and modern cars, bikes and tanks! ;D

Nice one Steve, great shots, lots of lovely motors there and amazing variety too. Carrera GT looks lovely, Alpine is stunning, that red truck looks immense (owned by the retro diner guy by any chance???) but the photo of that lady chomping into the sausage butty wins it for me. Epic shot ;D Nice to see you've got a blog up & running.....I was only thinking this morning that I need to look into starting a blog for a certain 'ongoing' place of mine. Great start to 2010 and I look forward to more of your adventures through the year

Great stuff, and as always it's great to see the modified and classic brigades cross-pollenating, something which virtually never happened 20 years ago.
That '68 R8 Gordini is the one that really does it for me, though.
I need to get to this one year, even if only to prove that any misgivings about me being able to handle a sausage of that size are completely unfounded. ;D

Good shots Speedman... I like the colour levels you're rocking at the moment, nice and vivid.
Nice to see you there again too - and Family Seth - no doubt there'll be a few more occasions this year. And sorry I didn't get to say cheerio, you were busy climbing a wall to get a photo and the missus was cold/bored.

Your car is not 'epic', this thread is not 'epic'....the OCEAN is epic, the UNIVERSE is epic.... please stop misusing this word!! It would appear Hotrods are the new VWs - aint fashion funny! '69 BUICK LESABRE 350

I was there in the blue rod thats pictured above also with the 375 consul and white pinto powered fibre glass rod did any of you carry on to the poachers in s.warnborough for the other classic pub meet ??
must say that the hogroast rings and stuffing was kushti especially with the soup come veggy stew with bread roll and a cup of mulled wine ta wash it down with .
the red n white bird from farnborough must of been the car of the show for me but I must say the little imp was pretty cool too specially with the winter tyres on her it looked rather good
