If you end up with a Honda 70-based creation......I have a 110 pitbike engine sat in the garage, brand new never fired up.............if your interested. Was gonna fit it into a 1967 Honda 90 but felt guilty about chopping&modifying a classic so sold it instead :-(
Steve
Edit: Forgot to say that I have had a few Express's in the past and each one was huge amounts of fun.......just get used to a top speed of 25mph and curse word brakes!

Those Express' are great fun! Mine might be getting sold in the next month or so to free up funds for a change of car.... unless i can work round selling it

Not too keen on the Visions, bit too on the 'modern'-shape styling for my tastes. Have seen a few well-thought-out modded ones though which have worked.
Anyway, I didn't want his to predominantly a 'Wanted' thread in the wrong section (feel free to PM me about any propositions mind you)...more a thread about modded scoots/peds as they have a massive scene of their own!

I like your thinking ;D Bought an older high-mileage v-twin recently for the same thing, fun commuting & an interesting base for some subtle mods Bike is already slim & torqey, first on the list is to do something about the seat & back end. Will be keeping the inboard disk brake - just for novelty Todays problem? One cylinder is cutting in & out, great fun when it cuts in on the snow covered pack-ice we have around here this week Have also found I can't get snow tyres in my size

Think my moms old Raleigh wisp is still in the back of her garage Will have a look when i'm down next month and see what condition its in. Mopeds/scooters don't do anything for me but might be a nice little project for someone

Oooohhh, that reminds me. I have to go and collect one of these sometime, the bloke just wants shot of it. Cuts out on tickover, but considering it's sat for 15 years, it's not bad. Not sure i'd ride it though ;D

Are these easy to mod without making it handle so badly its unrideable? That yellow thing in the first post looks like it could be modded like my King Pin (bent forks, drop the rear end, drop the seat?
