Top work, had a couple of these myself... ...and while the black one was a shed (blew up -literally- after 45 mins of ownership)the blue one was a joy. One of my favorite cars ever, so much so that I have been waiting patiently to buy another one. This year will be the year hopefully! Well done though, top purchase, top motoring and I have to agree, top colour! Chris

Thanks everyone! ;D I'm over the moon with it to be honest, I had a look through the paperwork for it last night and it's been loved by each of its owners. All but 2 of the services have been done by main agents, with big bills to prove, and the last owner covered less than 5000 miles in the 5 years he had it. The only issues I've found with it are the ashtray lid won't shut properly, there's a tape jammed in the tape deck, the digi display for the climate's on its way out, and the steering's a bit wandery at motorway speeds. All jobs I won't have to do till it gets warmer, and ones I'll probably enjoy fixing! Oh and it's not as heavy a drinker as I expected, provided I can resist the urge to plant my right foot too often

Oh and it's not as heavy a drinker as I expected, provided I can resist the urge to plant my right foot too often Good choice sir! I saw this over on the 7 series register the other day...it's a very unusual colour, but I like it! The problems you've got are all fairly common, so won't be a problem to fix... I've had mine 2 years now and I still can't resist planting my foot- at least you'll make a new friend at your local petrol station ;D but I can forgive the consumption 'cos its so much car! As I'm sure you already know, you'll find all you need to know on the other forum and as long as you're ok with the spanners, they don't have to be expensive to own... here's a cheeky pic of mine....
