Hi, Can anyone recommend me some decent scrap yards in Scotland for semi-modern stuff? I have tried Persley and Overton in Aberdeen and Sharpewood in Huntly with no luck so need to look further afield - Inverness, Perth, Glasgow or Edinburgh I suppose. I'm after a front bumper and bonnet for a mkI Saxo VTR/VTS, preferably metallic blue. Its proving to be a tricky quest as all the sporty saxos in breakers I have seen have had the front ends vapourised in accidents. Thanks.

Watsons in Inverkeithing is no more. Not as I knew it anyway. It's called 'PullAPart' now IIRC. Works in a fairly unique way too in so much as you pay a deposit, they bring you the car and you get a certain ammount of time, (8hrs I think), to remove what you want. The other little yard they had is now empty as I sadly found out the last time I got the train to Edinburgh.
Sports Car Breakers was the other one that sprung to mind and the last I knew they also had a place in Lochgelly. There's a couple in the Randolph Industrial Estate, (Jean Nobles was the famous one way back when!), in Kirckaldy too.

I think second hand Poseidon Blue Saxo bumpers are made of unobtainium, unless you get lucky and find one that's gone off the road backwards. That said, Mossbank down by Fettercairn might be worth a shot. Also, there's Stanley Clark in Kemnay, but I've never heard anything good about him.
