Well, then, whilst being au fait with internet car forums, it's always a brave step posting pictures of one's cherished. In comparsion with some of the simply breathtaking work that other members on this site have accomplished, I'd like to present my BMW E24. She was brought two and a bit years ago from a friend whom had cared for her for a good many years. I'm the fourth owner I think. Amongst other things, he' done work on the top on the engine, replaced the front wings (they all rot there) and fitted a complete new BMW exhaust. I replaced the wheels, perhaps not the best for originality, but £280 a corner killed me a bit too much, I'll post original piccies, so let me know if you wanna see 'me! Anyway the pics of her: And my poor old girl in the snow, she is usually garaged, but don't tend to garage wet cars, and then this happens: She's my only car, when a commute, or a drive through the snow is required she does the job!

Very nice. It looks to be in similar spec to mine, albeit a later model. Great choice

It's Feb '89 built Highline, so one of the last in RHD, they made a handful between then and April, when production finally stopped.

Welcome to RR! Beautiful 6-Series. I really like the wheel choice too - I take it the originals were metric TRX ones? Great colour, they look so sinister.

Very nice mate,I had a C-reg 628I in that funny shade of orange that BMW did. It had amazing handling and I used to do a round trip of 60 miles a day to and from work. I even drove it to Holland once with a Capri club.

Yep, that is a very nice looking 6. Wheels suit it perfectly IMHO, especially in that colour. Had a 735 a few years ago, I loved it, especially the engine which just made such a great noise when it was on song (Getting thrashed ) Would love a 6 one day (along with about a hundred other cars unfortunately!) Welcome.
