right now the answer in the back of my mind would suggest using a bike brake cable.... but instead of laying out hard currency for parts that might or might not fit i thought i'd ask you lovely people. any ideas? ITB's are off a GSXR750 if that makes any difference.

I used a frankencable fashioned from Merc Vito rear door catch cable, bike inner with Micra pedal end and a solderless nipple on the carbs end.

I just used the standard cable that came with the car. Chopped it short and fitted a solderless nipple to keep it all togeather.

or go on ebay and buy a universal throttle cable. They cost pennies and I'm using 1 as a throttle and 1 as a choke cable on the carbs in the viva
EDIT:
I was gonna put the link up for where I bought mine but I cant find it. Thry were quite cheap and came with 3 or 4 different ends to use.

FSE do them for like £2 each, not sure on the postage and you have to phone them up, got one off ebay for like £3.50 instead ;D
i did google search BTW, but it bought up an array of things that you "could" have meant, just wanted to be exact ;D

universal rear bike brake from Halfords and solderless nipple does the job on R1 carbs. Lead end might need a bit of filing to fit easily. I keep a spare cable in the boot too just in case.
