right putting this on to of the original post, id like to organise a meet in or around london , ive been thing the classic chelsea or maybe krispy kremes in new malden ( shannons corner) any input please add guys, would love to have this starting in the next month or so
hey guys I'm really into my corolla and my photography and I want to get out there as I'm starting a blog and want a few pics for it and then go on to shoot cars individually, ive just organised a meet in march on chelsea bridge for all ae86's but I was wondering if anyone could inform me of some more retro meets in the london area or surrey

the deviltorque meet is big when the weather is good, and you get a alot of different motors turn up. they ranger from turbo j tin to hot rods (even a couple of 1/4 mile monsters turn up) it's buy the dartford bridge on the kent side.

Alright Geoff i've been thinking the same, surely there has to be a meet or two in the SE?
I'd be up for a meet somewhere in the Volvo, oh and i want to have a looksy round your AE86 if thats cool, you go on drift days i pressume? PM on it's way.

Aren't there meets on Chelsea Bridge in summer, weekday evenings? oh, and the Ace Cafe of course.....

yeah i know about these and used to do them in my mk1 tina
but what I'm after is a retrorides sorta meet with a hella of alot of 80's boxy awsomeness
there seems to be a fair old wack mid island but id like something that was 40 mins drive away you know as far as i know there are no meets like that at chelsea and ace livens up in the summer a little i suppose
ta for the info on the devil torque meet danny, maybe me an paul ( magnum pi) can pop up there one day soon as its not to bad a drive

there is also one at crystal palace, I think its every sunday. but from what they say it can get abit out of hand with people drifting or think they can drift.
or what about the retro cars track evening? perfect for playing with your camera.

There are a whole bunch of people in London, so worth organising an ad hoc thing or two.

dannyb : whats the one at CP on Sundays? Moderns or older stuff??. i think it's a mix of both. guys i work with and there mates have escort/sierra cosworth's, but did see a thread on old skool ford about a few of them that go.

how about the new American style diner, i say style coz it's not one of them train carts like in ashford. it's in halstead close to m25 j4 and a21. if you know where polhill garden center is you will find it as its 30 seconds down the road. www.7hoteldiner.co.uk/diner/home-diner.aspx
