So, I've got to get a set of slightly knackered BBS RM's from North Lincolnshire to Surrey, picking up this Thursday. I've had a little eBay search but there are a fair few couriers - I wondered if anyone could recommend any of them? I've been stung by DHL in the past so I;d rather avoid using them. Have some nice rims as a thank you...

Porsche 924 - gone Citroen Saxo VTR - not very retro but I loved it - now gone... MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T - gone but hardly remembered... Mini Cooper S R53 - gone BMW 125d Coupe - gone (mostly sideways)
Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have

I always use www.senditnow.com (parcelfarce) They have treated me well (a lot better than normal royal mail!) and take up to 32kg for £12. Get the wheels packed in 2 pairs if they have tyres on and send as 2 parcels, £24 for next day. If the wheels are light and without tyres you could put them all in one lot, but I'd rather spend another £12 and be able to use plenty of packing.

+1 for Parcel 2 Go, some of the stuff me and my mate have sent through them is unreal. They allow a bit of leeway with the sizes and weights etc...

I used www.interparcel.com/ to send some wheels once & it went well, can't remember exactly how much it cost but was less than £20.

Paisley Freight. Use them a couple of times after recommendations from members of SXOC.

parcel2go are effectively a broker: they aren't a courier themselves, but arrange proprietary couriers on your behalf - eg DHL / Parcelfarce / HomeDeliveryNetwork.
It seems that parcel2go's contracts with these couriers allow larger / heavier parcels than you could arrange if you dealt directly with the couriers. They're cheap too, as said above.
I've sent 4 x wheel, 4 x tyre and 1 x bonnet with them recently and found them to be ok.

I use interparcel everyday as you can choose the courier service by price, I pay £6.50 plus VAT for upto 15kgs, via UPS

Paisley Freight are good for wheels with tyres, used them a couple of times.
If they are just rims pack them in pairs and use interparcel as its cheaper and quicker. I've used them loads and they are really good to deal with.
