OK, this is the last one for now. I've spent the past few days trying to decide on the last member of the fleet to move on, and I've finally reached the conclusion that I don't need two large, unnecessarily fast turbocharged front-wheel-drive saloons in the fleet. The Renault 21 is the more unusual so that's the one I'm keeping.
This is a fairly well-specced 9000 CSE. It's got the 2.3 full pressure turbo engine and goes like a scalded cat. It's done a fair few miles but it's had loads of money spent on it (including £1,000 on a recon gearbox five years ago) and you'd never guess the mileage from driving it. The engine is pretty standard apart from a larger dump valve, but there is more than enough power for any situation you're likely to encounter on the road.
It has a full black leather Aero interior, with electric and heated front seats. It also has digital climate control and a CD player, as well as the usual 9000 gadgets & gizmos.
The body is pretty good - there's a few minor scratches as you'd expect, and a bit of bubbling in the paint round the sunroof, but other than that it's all good.
For an MoT it will need a nearside front wheel bearing, and the front tyres will need replacing (the Marham track day in October didn't do the tread depth any favours). There's also a minor blow in the exhaust, but this is in the middle of a straight section so not awkward to patch up - it's not loud enough to attract unwanted attention so I've never bothered to sort it. Other than that I can't see anything obvious. Oh, it's also had a HID headlight conversion fitted, although this would be easy enough to remove if you wanted.
