I stopped by the Don Gartits Museum of Drag Racing in Occala a while back and theres a ton of great cars there, dragsters, road racers, hot rods, movie cars, factory specials, even the occasional moonshiner... Here's some highlights... Mid mounted Hemi Barracuda! Real Old Skoool, Lincoln engine IIRC... Original Hemi Coronet escaped from factory development and an abandoned factory race programme to become a road racer in the late 50s and 60s. A/FX is mean, this has a real home built vibe to it. No idea on the history of it. Ramchargers Dodge which Garltis had? Or something. Early 60s Plymought was a supercharger development car for Paxon. Willys... Hudson... Dodge Wills and '34 First ever fibreglass repop body used on a funny car was this 1966 Chevelle. Place was packed with cool cars but I ran out of shots...

It's totally unrestored and consequently is a bit tatty, and we won't be doing a great deal to it - well, unless I find a few pics of 50s-style rodded Fordors (yup, it ain't a three-window0

Ooh, sounds even more interesting now... get yourself a photobucket account www.photobucket.com or imageshack (www.imageshack.com) they are both really easy and self explainatory to use and are for just this purpose. Both are free too.

Interstingly enough my motor is quite a well-known one because it's never been rodded. It missed out on it a few times, and was nearly roof-chopped in the 70s from what I understand. It was at Wheels Day a few years ago on the back of a flatbed!
