Selling this on behalf of a mate who's decided he doesn't need two cars. It's a 900 SE with the 16 valve non-turbo engine - this is the only iteration of classic 900 that I've never owned, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as to how well it goes.
Obviously I won't be able to give as much detail as I normally do, as it's not my car and I've only driven it a couple of times, but it seems to drive fine and I know my mate has been using it without any problems. From memory mileage is around 150K but I'll confirm that tomorrow.
It's in fairly good nick, although not immaculate - there are odd minor scrapes and bubbles, and one of the front arches is starting to bubble a bit, although it's by no means bad by 900 standards. It has the optional rear wiper fitted (I never did understand why a car of the calibre of a Saab had a wiper as an option when an Escort 1.3L came with one as standard), and cross-spoke alloys. It has a chip in the windscreen on the top right, but thanks to the bizarre wiper pattern on 900s this is outside of the wiped area and therefore not an MoT fail.
It's tested till October and taxed till the end of April. My mate has given me the key and the paperwork so if you want to view or test drive I can arrange this myself. I also have a towbar in the shed which I removed from one of my old 900s - I could throw this in if need be.
Here's a couple of pics:
That's all I managed to take before my camera battery ran out . More to follow.
