More pics added.
Right I brought the car at the begin of January with a dead engine and no MOT. I got it off a friend who only brought it to skid, he welded the diff up and then the cambelt snapped a week latter. So he never got to use it. I found a second hand replacement engine off E30 zone, did a little work for the MOT it passed first time with 2 advisories:
Small chip in windscreen (which is actually cracked very slightly)
Slight play in steering wheel (probably due to it being an original rack which has covered 150,000 miles)
The replacement engine came from a 318 convertible with 100,000 on the clock. I don't have any proof of the mileage, but the engine seems good, uses no oil or coolant. The engine is fairly clean and it doesn't leak. As I said I changed all the filters, the oil (10w40 mobile super s) and the coolant which is the 5 year life stuff. About a month ago.
I'm not going to lie. I have skidded it, but I've not crashed or smacked it and although yes I've driven it hard. I have been mechanically sympathetic, well as much as you can be.

Please also bear in mind the engine is an M40 so it is a bit tappy. But this is not unusual for these. ;D
