Suggestions for paintwork patch-up (photoshop??)

As you can see the previous owner of this celebration of French motoring did a typically bad job of French workmanship sorting out the front wing.



I can level it out but can't easily get the paint and don't want to pay much.

Now, I'll probably not make a better job of it so I want to do a pattern or something to disguise it better.
I was thinking a big checkered flag diagonally from the inner side of the headlight, to cover most of the wing. You can see the line where it was sprayed, and it's rough over that area.
Other ideas?

chequered flag has been done to death, perhaps some pinstriping or vinyl graphics? I could measure up the front wing on mine and perhaps bash out a design?

Pinstriping wouldn't cover it it enough.
I put vinyl on my last car, over a bit I'd re-prayed, and the surface just wasn't good enough. It all came unstuck.
Mayeb a paintjob just on the wing. Could do the other side too.
