And how did you get it changed on the log book? I was told all pickups the DVLA now get bit funny about and want SVA tests etc etc?

I appologise if its not to your taste and i send my condolences to you. I did not mean for this to offend you.
It is not finished yet, and i am not using it on the road, i need to make a rear "boot" pickup bed cover which will essentially mean its a 2 seater coupe, similar to a mr2, and then it will be IVA'ed as an amatuer build. I would like to keep it as a pickup but unfortuatly the law means i cannot, but it still has that pickup look about it.

Mate, don't worry, i was half joking. I love the car. It was just a shock. You know how it is, with things like that you hold onto memories. Its my problem, no one elses. I'm liking the fact you can get round the issues of IVA etc and will hope to see it again when done

Yeah i know exactly what you mean, I'm the same when it comes to memories of my grandad, but still eitherway i did not mean for this in anyway shape or form offend or upset you. One way to look at it is atleast its not going to be scraped, its memory will live on! And ive had a fair amount of arguments with people regarding keeping it as a pickup, but the easiest and most legal way to get around it is to simply put a boot on it.
