Spotted this while out yesterday.... ....there was some info tucked in the glove box that I read , its got an interesting history, but what is it? Have a guess and when I get online later I'll tell the tale

Is it a DS with SM running gear and the roof chopped off? It's not that easy is it?

Balls Yep, 4 door DS that was getting a bit long in the tooth, the owner chopped the roof and strengthened the chassis and body (well hidden in the B pillars between the doors) then the engine got swapped out for a 2.7 Maserati lump from an SM. It sounded great rumbling out ;D

I don't see anywhere the roof can slot into in the windshield surround, and the repeaters at the corners must interfere with any roof that might go on.
