my mk2 golf has started to play up
in town at creeping along in traffic its started to buck /kangeroo badly ..almost undrivable , and at gentle cruise ive had the occasional buck too
i was thinking fueling ...but I'm not sure it casuses those symtoms

Sounds like fuel, but could be plug leads or similar causing a misfire.
To make sure, next time it happens stop as soon as you can and take a spark plug or two out.
If it's black, it's running rich. If it's very clean, or has white deposits on it, it's runnign lean. If it's a litgh brown/tan colour with few deposits, it's spot on.
If is carb or injection, and if the latter is it EFI or K-jet?

its digifant ...g60 engine
plugs suggest rich (maybe)
but my limited experiance suggests its like weak or a air leak
cant find anything wrong though lol

If it was carbs and points I'd be able to help, but leccy stuff I don't understand.
I suppose whip a plug out and start the engine and look for a consistent spark, even when you open the throttle slightly. Look for any connectors that might be loose or Corrado'd corroded.
